About this service
Community wellness at Asè Roots Collective is built on a simple truth: people thrive when they are connected. Our community wellness programs bring people together in circle, in conversation, and in shared practice — creating the kind of belonging that no clinic visit can provide.
We offer group gatherings, peer support circles, ancestral wellness practices, and community education events designed for the whole person — body, mind, and spirit. These are not classes. They are not appointments. They are spaces where community members show up for each other, share what they know, and build the kind of trust that sustains a neighborhood.
Our programs are open to everyone in the Delta — men, women, elders, young people, families. We meet people where they are, in spaces that feel safe and familiar. No insurance. No paperwork. No barriers. Just community.

Common questions
Do I need to sign up in advance?
For most community gatherings, you can just show up. For some structured programs with limited space, we ask you to register so we can prepare. Check the booking page or call us to find out what's coming up.
Are these programs for everyone or just Black community members?
Our programs are designed by and centered around Black community members in the Delta. All are welcome to attend with respect for that foundation.
What does a community circle look like?
We gather in a circle — chairs or cushions, no hierarchy. Someone opens with a grounding practice. We share what's on our hearts. We listen without judgment. We close with intention. It is simple, and it is powerful.
Can I bring my children?
Yes. Many of our community events are family-friendly. Some circles are adult-only spaces for deeper sharing — we'll always let you know in advance.
