About this service
Accessing care in America — especially in the rural South — can feel like navigating a maze designed to exhaust you into giving up. Insurance paperwork, waitlists, eligibility requirements, referrals that go nowhere. Asè Roots Collective's care navigators exist to cut through that maze with you.
Our navigators are community members who know this land, these systems, and these barriers from the inside. They will sit with you, listen to what you need, and help you find real, accessible resources — whether that's emergency housing, food assistance, mental health care, prescription help, legal aid, or a specialist who will actually see you.
Care navigation is not a one-time transaction. We follow up. We check in. We stay in the relationship until you feel steady. Because that's what community means.

Common questions
What kinds of resources can you help me find?
Housing, food, utilities, health insurance, Medicaid/Medicare enrollment, mental health care, substance use treatment, domestic violence resources, legal aid, disability benefits, childcare, transportation, and more. If you need it, we'll look for it.
Is my information kept private?
Yes. Everything you share with your navigator is confidential. We will never share your information without your explicit consent.
What if I've already tried to get help and been turned away?
That's exactly why we're here. Our navigators know the back doors, the appeals processes, and the community organizations that don't always show up in a Google search. We don't give up easily.
Do I need to be in a crisis to use this service?
No. You can reach out before things become urgent. Preventive navigation — getting connected to resources before you desperately need them — is just as valuable.
